This week on Emmerdale, Sarah's rushed to hospital after overhearing Mack and Chloe's secret.

Mandy and Paddy grow close

Paddy's horrified when Bear surprises him with a double date - and when Bear's keen for them to head into town with the girls, Paddy manages to think of an excuse.

An irritated Chas reminds Paddy that it's his choice to carry on living with her, as a concerned Mandy watches on.

Mandy consoles Paddy, explaining that she knows how hard it is to move on from someone you still love. The pair spend the afternoon getting drunk together... but will there be anything more?

Chas makes it clear to Caleb that she doesn't appreciate him interfering with her and Paddy's relationship.

Sarah rushed to hospital

Mack feels the weight of his secret as Charity remains oblivious.

Mack insists to Chloe that he's going to tell Charity the truth, unaware that Sarah is listening in. Just as the pair prepare to confess all, Sarah stumbles down the stairs struggling to breathe.

As Sarah is taken away for medical treatment, Mack supports Charity, who admits her worries about Sarah's life expectancy. A doctor approaches purposefully - there's some news...

When Ethan reveals that he's thinking about quitting his job due to the Greg saga, Naomi comes up with a plan. Nate agrees to go along with it and heads to the bar, successfully catching Greg's eye. As Nate's phone records, Greg approaches and offers to buy him a drink.

Samson learns through Brenda that Noah's trust fund is being transferred to baby Esther.

At Cathy's birthday party, Bob learns from Brenda that Cathy has been taking the pill to control her heavy periods. When he asks his daughter about it, she rages and orders all of her party guests to leave.
