Next week on Emmerdale, a series of bad choices ends with Alex lying lifeless at the side of a road.
Meanwhile, Samson becomes enemy number one in the village, Gabby and Nicky can't keep their hands off each other and Paddy suffers a new setback.

Gabby and Nicky can't control their passion
Kim decides to make Nicky's employment permanent - and when Kim and Dawn leave, he heads upstairs with Gabby to celebrate.
Caleb walks in on Gabby and Nicky getting up to no good in the kitchen - can Gabby convince him that it was all innocent?
End of the road for Alex?
Having let himself into the surgery, Alex is disappointed to find the drugs cabinet empty, but he comes up with a plan B and asks Clare not to give up on him. Meanwhile, Dawn tells Billy about Alex threatening her.
Charles is shocked to learn from Alex that Kim and Will kidnapped him over his kids and heads off to confront them both. Dawn's aghast at what Kim and Will did, worrying that their actions might ruin her case.
Dawn and Billy attend the court hearing to determine whether they will get full custody and adoption of Lucas and Clemmie. The judge states that the only way Alex can gain access to his kids is if he arrives and says that he wants as much. Meanwhile, Alex makes the decision not to attend the court hearing and instead steals all of the drugs from the pharmacy van.
Charles is stunned to find the drugs in Alex's car and is incensed, chasing him down and in the process causing damage to Charles's car. The pair argue and Alex admits that he was playing all of them - including Naomi - all along. When Charles goes to call the police, Alex smashes his phone and makes off with the drugs.
Charles goes for a drive to clear his head. Meanwhile, at the side of a road, Alex hangs up on his call to Clare and steps forward, only to be hit by a passing car. As he lies lifeless, a figure walks towards him and observes the scene before running away.
Samson's blackmail is exposed
Amelia's pleased Samson is seeming to take more of an interest in Esther. After a false alarm over Esther's health, everyone is full of praise for Samson 'saving' her, angering Noah. Later, he arrives on the pretence of checking up on his daughter but in reality he just wants more money out of Noah.
After Charity gets to the truth of the matter, Noah comes clean about the blackmail. Soon everyone is heading to confront Samson, who's shocked when his ashamed dad Sam tells him he needs to find somewhere else to live.
Amelia gets two offers...

Mack bumps into Chloe and is shocked to find out that she's having a boy. They share a charged moment when Mack feels the baby kicking.
Paddy's heartbroken when Eve doesn't want to spend the day with him. Will Mandy go to her much-anticipated Beauty Awards or be there for her mate?
