Marlon's frustrated by the incompetence of his new kitchen assistant Gail but Charity refuses to sack her.

Against Amelia's wishes, Dan shows up at the hospital to check on Lloyd and winds up meeting his wife Julie. The police take him in for more questioning and inform Dan that there is nothing on any of Lloyd's devices to suggest that he's broken the law. Dan is then charged with GBH...

Dawn and Billy are surprised to learn that she's 16 weeks pregnant and get emotional as they see their baby on the scanner screen for the first time.

Billy and Dawn make plans to give Clemmie an extra special birthday before revealing the news that she's going to have a new brother or sister.

Amelia's stunned to discover that her dad was charged with GBH and confronts him. Feeling low, Dan wanders through the woods necking a bottle of whiskey before being helped home by David. Amelia's devastated when Dan drunkenly blames his GBH charge on her social media behaviour.

Also: Charity finally sees the number of mistakes that Gail is making in the kitchen and decides that she'll need to be let go.

Wednesday, July 12 (Episode 9727)

Clemmie's subdued on her birthday as she admits that she can't have the one present she wants most - her mother back. Later, she inadvertently hears about Dawn being pregnant and can't control her emotions, fearful that the new baby will mean that she's pushed out. Amid the commotion she accidentally pushes a stool into Dawn's stomach, causing Dawn to collapse.

At the hospital, the sonographer confirms that the baby is fine - but unaware of the update, a distraught Clemmie leaves Home Farm and runs away.

Jai's cousin Suni arrives in the village for his wedding to Laurel - and before too long, a newly-single Nicky catches his eye...
