This week on EastEnders, the residents of Walford past and present gather to bid farewell to the legendary Dot Branning.

Elsewhere, Alfie pushes ahead with plans for the panto, Janine wants Mick to buy Linda out of The Vic and Sonia fears for her future ahead of Dot's will reading.

Monday, December 12 (Episode 6606)

It's the day of Dot's funeral and Sonia is still struggling to write her eulogy. Lauren arrives and reminisces about Dot with Ricky, Jack and Sonia. Looking for inspiration, Sonia lets herself into the launderette - and when Martin finds her in there, he encourages her to just speak from the heart.

The residents line the streets to say one final goodbye to Dot Branning. Sharon's delighted when Colin arrives.

The mourners gather at the church, including Mary, Disa and late arrival Lofty. Sonia delivers her eulogy, supported by those who knew and loved Dot.

At Dot's wake, Jack pays tribute to her as Jim's one true love. Meanwhile, Sonia bumps into a man named Reiss, who reveals that he's Dot's great-nephew.

Lauren has a go at Linda for her behaviour with Max and breaking his heart.

Knowing that Linda will overhear, Janine asks Kathy to cater her wedding. Later, Mick decides to tell Linda about his wedding news but she informs him that she already knows.

Felix gives directions to Dot's to a man in a flash car - it's Barry. What will Colin have to say when he sees him?

Also: Kat and Sharon bond over the difficulties of being in a relationship with Phil.
