Having forgotten her own birthday, Denise is surprised to be ambushed by her family with celebrations. Overwhelmed, she rushes out, followed by Jack, who's unable to get through to her. But later, she decides she has no choice but to tell Jack everything.

Stacey pushes Suki to get the divorce deal done, but when Suki goes to see Nish, he provokes her by mentioning the events of Christmas night but she twists it around. Later, after Kat makes a comment about Stacey's past, Nish breaks into the Slater house and tries to extract the truth from a terrified Stacey. Jack intervenes and saves the day, sending Nish packing.... and then, Jack and Stacey share another kiss.

Jean and Jade bond as they spend more time together, pleasing Dean.

Alfie meets a fellow nervous patient, Shahir, at radiotherapy and feels lonely when Shahir's family all show up to support him.

Linda invites Alfie for a drink at The Vic with Billy and Ian - and all is going well until Alfie heads for the toilet but fails to make it in time.

Denzel has an altercation with a bully called Logan at McKlunky's and as Yolande rushes to intervene, she trips up and is filmed by the gang, leaving Denzel feeling awful.

Lily and Ricky are nervous as they prepare for baby Charli's guardianship hearing.

Denise hears from Nish that he had an altercation with Jack and Stacey. She collars Stacey, who convinces her that it was to do with Suki, and the families enter the courtroom. Later, as Jack joins the Slaters for a party, Chelsea visits Denise and begs her to seek professional help.

Alfie's mortified over the toilet incident, but after a word with Linda, he decides to come clean to his pals about his health issues. Shocked, they all vow to be there for him.

Jean visits Jade with some cake, but makes it clear to Dean that she's doing it for Shirley and Shabnam, not him.

Denise asks Jack where he's been all night and he tells her that he was working. Paranoid, Denise steals his phone to see if he was working on the Christmas Day case. Later, Denise finds an unlikely confidante.

Nish informs Suki that he's decided not to agree to their deal after all - so she either signs over all of the businesses or has to remain married to him.
