Martin's shocked to see Jean stumbling out of a limo after a night on the town and takes her back to Sharon's, where she rifles through Linda's clothes.

Stacey arrives and tells Jean that she has a doctor's appointment booked in for Friday but the news doesn't go down well.

Callum tells Ben that he's been offered the chance to be the poster boy for a new LGBT+ campaign at work, but it's clear Ben is uneasy with the idea.

Having caught the bouquet at a wedding, Jean impulsively decides to propose to Harvey.

Callum's furious to learn that Ben has told his work that he doesn't want to be part of the campaign.

Stuart claims that he's not in pain following the surgery, but Vi realises that he's struggling.

Nancy overhears Martin telling Zack that he has concerns about Linda being in the house and drinking around the children.

Kathy's new bar manager Lewis invites Ben on a night out but the plans are thwarted when a group of homophobic guys hurl insults at Lewis, angering Ben.

Also: Jean reveals to Shirley that she's proposed to Harvey, who's still thinking about whether to accept.

Wednesday, April 13 (Episode 6468)

Nancy spots Jean wearing Linda's scarf and confronts her, before telling Stacey what happened. Stacey pleads with Harvey to convince Jean to go to the doctor's appointment tomorrow.

Bernie's pleased to see her old friend Molly when she returns to work but is aghast at the new contract terms and leads her colleagues on a walkout.

Ben spots Steve, the man who abused Lewis last night, and drags him into the alley and starts attacking him but is interrupted by a shocked Sharon.

Sharon covers for Ben to Callum, then heads to confront Ben over his behaviour.

Thursday, April 14 (Episode 6469)

Vinny does his best to convince the workers to stop their protests but when Bernie spots Rainie with Roland, she becomes more determined. Dotty tries to help Vinny out by proving that the contracts are legal, but Bernie refuses to back down.

Rocky chases down a man who stole Kathy's handbag and uses the opportunity to ask her to reward him with a date.

Sharon asks Kat to keep Ben away from the businesses as he's too fragile, but Kat refuses to agree.

Sharon visits Phil and tells him everything about Ben but when she suggests he think again about the offer from DCI Keeble, he refuses.

Also: Kat and Martin reminisce about Kush on the anniversary of his death, while Jean goes to her doctor's appointment.
