The Slaters' New Year's Eve party is in full swing. Eve's surprised when Suki and Nish show up with a bottle of whiskey but she makes the most of the opportunity to get to know Nish. When Stacey spots Harvey showing Freddie a ring-sized box, she and Jean worry that he's preparing to propose... are they right? Later, after the clock strikes 12, Eve collapses.

After encouragement from Chelsea, Whitney pulls aside Zack for a chat - but he surprises her with the news that he's been offered the job of a lifetime.

Ricky tells Sonia that he's going back to Germany. Later, he invites Sam to spend NYE with him and asks her to come with him to Germany.

Phil's thrilled to see in the New Year with his family at Peggy's, but his good mood is short lived...
