ITV has announced a one-off documentary in celebration of Coronation Street legend Bill Roache's 90th birthday next month.
The iconic actor, who has played Ken Barlow since the soap's first ever episode in 1960, reaches the milestone on April 25.
Happy Birthday Bill will feature highlights of his Corrie career alongside interviews with those close to him and intimate footage of his home life.
Speaking about the programme, Roache said: "I don't feel nearly 90 at all. The Coronation Street cast are like a second family to me and I can't quite believe I've been lucky enough to play Ken Barlow for over 60 years.
"It's also been lovely revisiting past memories and remembering all the wonderful things I have seen and done over the years.
"I hope the viewers enjoy watching the documentary as much as I did making it."
Roache has always insisted that he never intends to retire from Corrie and hopes to become the first centenarian to be part of a soap's regular cast in the 2030s. body check tags ::
