After Daniel answers a call on Bethany's phone from the editor at Chit-Chat Magazine, she's forced to admit that the story she was writing was all about him, Daisy and Ryan.
Adam's left seething when Sarah tells him that she and Damon have decided to sell the flat as they want to get a house with a garden instead.
After starting the day by drinking from a bottle of vodka, Simon reluctantly agrees to drive Sam to his chess competition - but disaster strikes when Simon loses control of the car and they crash. Later, Simon admits to a horrified Leanne that he was over the drink-drive limit.
Also: Dee-Dee has a go at Damon for what he did with Ed's insurance forms, while Lauren is gutted to learn that the registration fee for her GCSE is £148.

Leanne's then forced to admit to Nick that Sam was involved in a crash with Simon, who was over the limit at the time - how will he react?

At the Bistro, Billy surprises Paul with a barbershop quartet - but the mood is shattered when one of Paul's old schoolmates, Benno, drunkenly approaches and tries to get him to dance. Billy reacts by punching Benno.
Also: Leanne's horrified to discover that Simon spent the night on a bench after Nick kicked him out, while Daniel's left fuming when it emerges that Chit-Chat mag is refusing to pull the article.

Bobby hands Lauren a small bunch of flowers but is left put out when a delivery man arrives with a huge posh bouquet for her.
Simon admits to Leanne, Nick and Toyah that he's been drinking too much but is determined to change. Later, Leanne gets down on one knee and proposes to Nick - but will he accept?
Tommy makes it clear to Tracy that they're finished - but suddenly, Amy appears and demands to know what's going on.
