Next week on Coronation Street, Rufus makes a big mistake when he threatens Stephen.

Elsewhere, Evelyn's devastated as Cerberus is put to sleep, Damon's back to cause more headaches all round and Paul gets some concerning news from the neurologist.

Damon issues a threat

Nick's stunned to find Damon sitting at his desk. Damon reminds him that he still has a stake in the business and reveals that he has a new solicitor, Adam.

After rowing with Adam, Sarah heads off to the hotel for date night by herself and takes a seat at the bar next to Damon, unaware of who he is. Damon chats her up and later, feeling tipsy, she invites him up to her room for a drink...

Sarah meets with Damon and pleads with him to stay away from Nick and ditch Adam as his solicitor. Later, after Dee-Dee warns Damon that he's likely to go down, a fuming Damon enters the Bistro and corners Nick in his office...

Will Stephen kill again?

As Stephen prepares to sign the American contract, Rufus arrives and demands full exclusivity of the Nippersnapper range - and if Stephen doesn't agree, he'll tell Carla that he's been drugging her. Furious, Stephen picks up his trusty hole punch and approaches Rufus...

Peter breaks the news to Carla that the Underworld workers have voted to put Stephen in charge.

Evelyn says goodbye to Cerberus

Tyrone and Evelyn visit the vet, who suggests that Cerberus is most likely suffering from food poisoning. Roy admits that he dropped an Eccles cake in the cafe and fears Cerberus may have eaten it. Evelyn tells Roy that she will never forgive him if anything happens to Cerberus, and later she's left devastated when the vet confirms that Cerberus has kidney failure and must be put to sleep.

Jenny's thrilled when Daisy asks her to give her away. Meanwhile, Glenda is determined to perform at the wedding and attempts to convince Daisy by belting out songs from behind the bar.

As Daniel and friends have a low-key gathering at the Bistro, Christina arrives with a surprise for Daisy's hen do - two friends from her past, Samantha and Ellie.

Aaron's struggling to pay the rent and asks Summer to move back in with him.

The neurologist informs Paul that he needs further scans but suggests that the problems are unlikely to have been caused by the accident. Later he learns from Dee-Dee that if the accident was not to blame, he won't be entitled to any compensation at all.
