Next week on Coronation Street, Toyah is hauled in for questioning as Imran is laid to rest.

Brian pops the question

After Evelyn suggests that he take a more romantic approach, Brian gets down on one knee to propose to Cathy. How will she react?

Evelyn tells a hungover Cathy to come clean to Brian, but instead she decides to accept his proposal.

Brian tells Cathy that he's put an offer in on a house in Cornwall and wants them to move there together. Meanwhile, she's contemplating leaving the street regardless...

Toyah faces more questioning

At Imran's funeral, Toyah delivers a eulogy in which she says that she wishes Imran had survived the crash instead of her. Afterwards, Peter tells her that the police have questioned him following Adam's allegations.

Leanne arrives at the police station trying to find news about Toyah, who's in for questioning. Toyah is adamant that she did not intend to kill herself or Imran.

Debbie confronts Leanne and Nick about the 4 grand that's gone missing from the business account... how will they explain themselves?

A familiar face returns

Abi discovers that she will face a new custody hearing over Abi tomorrow.

Jack overhears a conversation and learns that he was the product of an affair between Kevin and Molly behind Tyrone's back. He struggles with this new-found information but wishes Kevin and Abi luck as they head off to the custody hearing.

The local authority solicitor gives a damning account of Abi's failings as a mother, but nevertheless the judge orders that Alfie is placed with Abi in a mother and baby foster facility for assessment. Soon, Abi meets the foster carer... Wendy Papadapoulos.

When Phill reveals that the new place is unsafe and needs a complete rewiring, Tyrone suggests that Fiz and the girls move back in to number 9 for the time being.

Audrey looks through the cupboards for booze, forcing Shona to admit that Gail's hidden it all.

Phill tells Fiz that Mimi can attend the wedding after all and also wants to get involved in the build-up.

David returns home to find Shona on her back with Bernie administering some crystals. He gives Max some money and tells him to take Sonya out for dinner.
