Next week on Coronation Street, Tim seeks Sally's forgiveness before his triple heart bypass operation.

Meanwhile, Bernie has some explaining to do to the police, Jenny decides to go for it with Leo and Faye finally tells Craig what happened with Ted.

Read on for pictures and spoilers from next week's new episodes!

Love triangle ahoy

Lydia's taken aback when Daniel tells her that he was wrongly accused of having a relationship with Summer.

Lydia shares her concerns about Daniel's past with Sarah, but Daisy overhears and jumps to his defence.

Daniel thanks Daisy for defending him and when she suggests they go for a drink, he doesn't know how to react. Lydia arrives and notices their spark.

Jenny and Leo take the next step

Carla reminds Jenny that she promised to give Kate a share of Johnny's inheritance, accusing her of abandoning her family for her new relationship.

Jenny gets a call saying that Leo's been injured playing rugby but when she arrives at A&E, she's shocked to see some familiar faces.

After getting approval from an apologetic Carla, Jenny decides that Leo should move in to the Rovers.

Tim goes under the knife

In hospital, Tim asks Kevin to tell Sally that he's sorry and he loves her. As the anaesthetic takes effect before his operation, Tim hears a commotion in the corridor - it's Sally, who's being arrested by the police.

As Tim recovers, Sally reveals that the developers have gone cold on her election campaign because of the article in the paper - and Faye speculates that a rival candidate may have tipped them off. Convinced it's Maria, Sally wastes no time in confronting her.

Sally attempts to celebrate Tim's 50th in hospital, but Elaine is adamant that all her son needs is rest before he goes home tomorrow. When Elaine offers to move in to help out, Tim's delighted but Sally's less than enthused.

Bernie's lies catch up with her

Dev and Bernie host a joint family meal at Speed Daal and announce that they are now officially a couple. Later, Bernie warns Joseph to keep quiet.

Evelyn starts to put the pieces together when Bernie's forced to admit that she bought Joseph a video game, claiming that she could afford it because Dev gave her a pay rise.

Despite Bernie's denials, Evelyn isn't buying it and calls the police. With no other option, Bernie comes clean about everything.

Bernie insists that she only ever acted with the best of intentions.

Also next week...

Faye and Emma are horrified when Craig tells them that Ted's post-mortem revealed that he may have been run over before he died. Eventually, Faye crumbles and tells Craig everything about Ted.
