Next week on Coronation Street, Chesney faces the prospect of losing Joseph to Portugal over some seriously-crossed wires.
Elsewhere, Emma meets up with Jon again, Lydia ratchets up her torment of Adam and Abi turns back to her vices.

Emma plays with fire
After Emma watches Ted's grandson Jon in the Freshco's car park, he tracks her down in the Rovers and they go for a meal at Speed Daal. It's clear that he's smitten.
Emma makes a promise to Faye that she won't see Jon again, but when he texts her, she's clearly torn.
Chesney loses Joseph?
Having wrestled with his emotions, Chesney tells Joseph that he can go to Portugal with Granny Linda if that's what he really wants. When Linda needs to head back to Portugal due to an emergency, Joseph stuns Ches and Gemma by saying he'll go with her and before they can catch breath, they're waving him off to the airport. Later, Hope admits that Joseph didn't really want to leave... but is it too late?
Adam feels the heat
Carla and Daniel don't believe a word Adam says when he insists that he hasn't slept with Lydia since they were at uni. Later, he gets a similar reaction from Sarah...
Sarah confronts Lydia, demanding dates and times of when she had sex with Adam - and Lydia's plan comes off perfectly as Sarah discovers the planted phone which implicates him. Sarah starts chucking Adam's stuff over the balcony as he arrives back with Daniel in utter disbelief.
Adam visits Lydia's house to discover that she's trashed the place in a bid to set him up. He grabs his phone to call the police, but once again she's one step ahead...
Abi relapses
At the bistro, Toyah finds an engagement ring in her pudding and puts it on, telling Imran that she's thrilled. When Abi shows up and has a scathing reaction, however, Toyah's taken aback.
Having packed up her things, Abi sits in Victoria Garden swigging vodka and looking at photos of Seb on her phone. Later, Abi introduces Toyah to Dean, claiming that he's her sponsor - but in reality he's providing her with a bag of drugs.

Having returned from his holiday in Cornwall with Cathy, Brian admits to Shona that he's found a shop similar to the Kabin out there and is tempted to buy it.
