Alya takes on Griff
Maria addresses the Christmas Market committee and shares her plan to rename it a Winter Market in support of the refugee centre. Councillor Cameron is left fuming when Maria overrules his objection.
Alya confronts Griff and threatens to tell his employer about his racist comments.
Stephen has some explaining to do
Stephen retrieves his phone but Gail has googled Six Fellas and has some tricky questions for him to answer. Later, Sarah's gutted that she messed up a meeting with a potential investor, leading Gail and Audrey to pressure Stephen into investing the 10 grand she needs...
Stephen sends an abusive text to his own phone, telling Elaine that it came from Gabrielle. She suggests that Gabrielle is gaslighting him but he puts on an act, saying that the abuse is what he deserves.
Hope gets a Stape-shaped shock
Tyrone gets down on one knee and proposes to Fiz - but as they celebrate, they are interrupted by the journo who wrote the John Stape book. He apologises for what he did and gives Fiz a bag containing all of his research into Stape.
Hope decides to hold a seance with Joseph and Sam in an attempt to contact her dad, but when Joseph goes to get some biscuits out of the cupboard, a jiffy bag filled with photos of Stape falls out.

Martha gives Mary some coaching when she suffers a panic attack during rehearsals, then invites the group to join her at a play that evening. Ken says that Wendy's too busy but he'll happily go.
After Amy discovers morning sickness pills in the bin, Summer comes clean and reveals that she lost the baby.
