Bernie sets up a massage table, telling Dev that she found it in a skip and plans to use her skills to make some extra cash.

Adam - already tipsy at The Rovers - tells Dee-Dee that he's heading into town to get drunk.

Eliza lies to Yasmeen and Stu, claiming that she's off to holiday club, but they later find her at the Precinct with a strange man.

Rufus's wife Lou calls in at Underworld and tells Stephen and Michael that she needs to cancel their meeting tomorrow, explaining that the inquest report into Rufus's death is due out... and she suspects foul play.

Wednesday, August 9 (Episodes 11027 and 11028)

Adam arrives back on the street in a dishevelled state and - with Sarah in earshot - tells Daniel that he had a great night and didn't get much sleep.

Gemma arrives at the hotel expecting to do some promo work but Henry reveals that he just wanted some time with her. Meanwhile, George lets slip to Chesney that Gemma is meeting Henry...

Also: Lou reveals to Carla and Stephen that the inquest put Rufus's death down to misadventure. Elsewhere, Shona gets Lauren a job at the cafe, while Stu calls Bridget to inform her that Eliza has been talking to her dad.

Friday, August 11 (Episodes 11029 and 11030)

Gemma meets Henry and accepts his offer - she'll come work for him as his PA if he agrees to save The Rovers. Later, she breaks the news to Ches.

Glenda reveals that Ruby has landed the lead role in the Little Big Shotz summer spectacular, while Eliza, Ciara and a disappointed Hope will be her backing singers.

Lauren makes a rocky start in the cafe but Shona assures Roy that she'll grow into the role.

Lauren catches Max talking to Sabrina across the street, leaving her disappointed. Meanwhile, Sabrina tells Max that as long as he hangs around Lauren then they can't be together.

Stephen struggles at Rufus's memorial event - particularly when Rufus's son Jools makes an emotional speech about his dad. Later, Stephen's horrified to learn that Lou is planning to go to the police about a tie pin found at the scene of Rufus's death as she's certain that it didn't belong to him.

Stu flies off the handle when he returns home to find Eliza on a video call with her dad.
