Craig tries too hard

Paul's news leads to a desperate decision

After Adam accidentally reveals to Paul that Dee-Dee is paying his wages, Paul returns home and packs up, telling Dee-Dee that she needs to find a proper flatmate who can pay their way.

Paul manages to get a part-time job working at the Bistro but just as things are looking up, his neurologist gives him the shocking news that he might be suffering from the early stages of Motor Neurone Disease. Devastated, he heads off for a family meal.

Paul's keen to earn some money fast to pay off Billy and help his sister with the wedding. After finding out from Nick who Damon really is, Paul approaches Damon, explaining that he doesn't have long left to live and wants to make a fast buck. Damon puts him in touch with a man called Kyle who needs a driver for an insurance scam - will Paul go through with it?

Stephen's backed into a corner

Elaine reminds Stephen that their solicitor needs proof of funds so that they can get a place together. Later, Stephen gets another blow when Michael announces to him that he's promised the workers an even bigger bonus from the new deal. But when Rufus refuses to renegotiate, what will Stephen do?

As Michael puts his case to Stephen for a cut of the profits, Stephen's distracted by the sudden return of Carla to the factory.

Tracy fights for Amy's voice to be heard

Tracy puts up flyers about Aaron everywhere and when Abi sees one, she confronts Aaron head on. Meanwhile, Amy's mortified that everyone now knows what she's been going through. At the end of her tether, Tracy visits the police station and glues herself to the counter, demanding that they take Amy's allegation seriously. When Amy arrives, she's mortified to see Tracy about to give an interview to Suki, a reporter from the Gazette.

Aadi has a go at Aaron for raping Amy but Aaron sets him straight, revealing that Amy has now changed her story. Later, Amy sees a picture of Aadi and Aaron out in town at a gig together and she's clearly uncomfortable.

At the office Dee-Dee clocks chemistry between Damon and Sarah. When Damon spots Sarah in the Rovers later on, he reminds her of his intention to get her into bed.

As George and Todd show a tricky customer called Estelle out of Shuttleworth's, a passing Glenda recognises her - it's an old friend from her cruising days.
