Coming up over the New Year on Coronation Street, Stephen welcomes in 2023 believing that he has a good year in store. But could Teddy throw an early spanner in the works?

Griff's market-ing strategy
Lily watches one of Max's far-right propaganda videos and shares it with Eliza. Later, Stu calls round and shows the video to a shocked David and Shona.
Griff tells Spider to meet him at his flat, where he leads him to believe that he's planning something for Maria's meeting at the Town Hall.
After Spider gets a message from Max asking him to meet urgently, Spider is instead met by Griff, who knocks him out with a crowbar.
As the stalls get set up at the Peace Market, Lauren gets a call from her dad telling her to stay clear of the market today. A worried Max thinks they should call the police and warn people - what will he decide? Meanwhile, Spider wakes up in hospital to find Toyah waiting. She assures him that they belong together and she's prepared to put up with the dangers of his job.
Teddy comes to - but will he remember?
Stephen's luck appears to turn when he sees the 10 grand land in his account - and gets word from Jenny that Terry's condition isn't great. He tells Jenny that just before Teddy was hit by the van, he said that he'd seen Leo in Canada. Later, as he welcomes in the New Year with Elaine, Sally and Tim, Stephen remarks that 2023 will be a good year.
Jenny and Stephen visit Teddy in hospital - but when Teddy suddenly opens his eyes, Stephen's thrown into a panic.
Stephen's horrified when Jenny tells him that she's invited Teddy to move in while he recuperates from the accident.
Stephen watches on desperately as Jenny helps a hobbling Teddy into the Rovers.

At Mike and Esther's house, Summer answers the door and is shocked when bailiffs enter the property and start removing belongings. When they return, Summer demands answers.
Blaming himself for Nina's accident, Roy decides to take the plunge and invest in a smartphone. But when Nina and Asha show him how to use it, it goes straight over his head.
Against Carla's advice, Jacob quits his job at the factory to work full time at the Bistro on double pay. But he's soon regretting his decision when Damon informs him that he needs to take delivery of a package.
