The BBC has secured the rights to broadcast men's international games involving Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in the run-up to World Cup 2026.

The deal with UEFA is for 41 games over the next 15 months, covering the World Cup qualifiers, friendlies and Scotland's upcoming Nations League playoff against Greece.

The games will be broadcast live on BBC One in each of the three nations as well as iPlayer, with key games also going out on network BBC One.

Rhodri Talfan Davies, director of BBC Nations, said: "I'm absolutely delighted that fans across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will now be able to enjoy live, free-to-air coverage of all the big international football matches.

"Nothing fires the imagination more than live international sport and the race to qualify for the world's biggest tournament. It's going to be quite a ride and I'm thrilled the BBC will be there every step of the way."

England games are currently shown by ITV under a deal running through to June 2028.
