The BBC confirms that its rollout of HD services will be completed before the end of February.

The BBC has confirmed that its rollout of HD services will be complete on Sky and Freesat before the end of next month.

The corporation is in the process of replacing its suite of SD channels with HD equivalents - most notably, replacing all of the regional versions of BBC One, which have mostly been SD-only until now.

The rollout began last week with BBC One South and new launches are planned every week until the last of the regions, BBC One South East, goes HD on February 22/23.

The full list of dates follows (Freesat one day earlier than Sky):

Jan 23/24: BBC One South, BBC One Northern Ireland, BBC Two Northern Ireland

Jan 30/31: BBC One East, BBC One East Midlands

Feb 6/7: BBC ALBA, BBC One West Midlands, BBC One East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, BBC One Wales, BBC Two Wales

Feb 13/14: BBC Red Button (RB1), BBC One West, BBC One South West, BBC One Channel Islands, BBC One London

Feb 20/21: BBC Parliament, BBC One North East and Cumbria, BBC One North West, BBC One Yorkshire, BBC One Scotland
