Next Friday, September 10, Channel 4 will air a landmark day of programming in what it has labelled the Black To Front Project.

For 24 hours, the broadcaster will hand over its entire schedule to shows featuring black talent on screen and behind the cameras.

The lineup will comprise brand new returning series, one-off specials - including the revival of a '90s favourite - and special editions of staple Channel 4 shows.

6.05am: Desmond's

The day kicks off with four episodes of the iconic black comedy, first shown in 1989.



8am: The Big Breakfast

The anarchic morning show returns with hosts Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu live from Lock Keepers' Cottages, with Phil Gayle reading the news and Melvin Odoom out on the road.



10am: Black-Ish

Four back-to-back episodes of the US sitcom about an upper-class African-American family, including 'The Dozens' and 'Chop Shop'.



11.55am: Channel 4 News Summary



12pm: Liam Bakes

Bake Off favourite Liam Charles celebrates recipes from his Jamaican heritage.



12.30pm: Mel B's Packed Lunch

The Spice Girls legend steps into Steph McGovern's shoes for one day only to present the lunchtime magazine show alongside regular contributor Chris Kamara and resident chef Freddy Forster.



2.10pm: Countdown

Sir Trevor McDonald takes the helm of this special edition, with Lemn Sissay in Dictionary Corner and Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon taking care of the numbers.



3pm: A Place In The Sun

Croydon couple Clement and Tracy-Anne set a budget of £250,000 to try to find a family holiday home in Marbella.



4pm: The Great House Giveaway

Two strangers - dance teacher Yolande and maintenance engineer Patrick - are given a few months and a modest budget to renovate a house in Manchester bought at auction.



5pm: Come Dine With Me

The week's competition in the North West comes to a conclusion over two episodes as Jane throws an art class over dinner and Christine puts on a night of chilled-out no-fuss food.



6pm: Hollyoaks

A special hour-long edition focusing on the village's black residents, with particular emphasis on the Deveraux family, who are throwing a birthday BBQ for Walter. But someone's come along to crash the party...



7pm: Channel 4 News



8pm: Love It Or List It

Expert property developers (and siblings) Scarlette and Stuart Douglas travel to Ipswich to help a multi-generational black family decide whether to renovate their existing place or move somewhere more spacious and serene.



9pm: Celebrity Gogglebox

The likes of Mo Gilligan, Babatunde Aleshe, Wretch 32, Jourdan Dunn and Ashley Banjo cast their eyes over the week's best and worst TV.



10pm: Highlife

First episode of a new reality series featuring a group of aspirational and successful British Nigerians and Ghanaians, including a celebrity makeup artist, a musician planning two wedding ceremonies and international DJ Cuppy.



11.05pm: Big Age

Comedy pilot about a group of four young Black-British friends going through the 'Big Age' era of their lives.



11.35pm: Unapologetic

Late night discussion show offering opinion on topics such as BLM, football and racism from a variety of black voices.



12.35am: FILM - Moonlight

Triple Oscar-winning movie from 2016 about an African-American man living in Miami struggling to come to terms with being gay alongside other family issues.



2.25am: I Am Danielle

Letitia Wright stars in this one-off piece in the I Am... series about a young woman who finds out a disturbing secret about the guy she's just started seeing.



3.20am: Come Dine With Me

Another chance to see all six episodes from this week's special super-sized competition set in the North West.
